About Telluride Ski Resort

Telluride, Colorado was established in 1870 when minors came to work in the local mine. Then, in 1968, Joe Zoline bought two ranches on the mountain. He worked with others to configure runs and lifts, as well as a ski school, and the resort officially opened in 1972. Ron Allred and Jim Wells purchased the Ski Area in 1978. Mountain Village was founded in 1987. The resort has continued to grow ever since. Their headquarters are in Telluride, CO.
