About Sierra at Tahoe

Sierra at Tahoe was started in 1946 by brothers Ray and Floyd Barrett as Sierra Ski Ranch. It was moved to its present location in 1968. It was sold to Fibreboard Corporation in 1993 and the name was changed to Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort.

Booth Creek Ski Resorts purchased it in 1996. They have 46 runs, their headquarters are in Twin Bridges, and they offer active duty free skiing or riding on Sundays.
