You can get up to $500 on their military rebate on select models.

This may only be valid between certain dates. Check dates with your local dealer. Currently, it is stated that it is valid from 04/04/2023-04/01/2024.

Mitsubishi Model Information

At Mitsubishi, you have the Lancer 1600 GSR, which was an off-road vehicle that was available as a 2-door sedan, from 1973-1979. The Pajero/Montero was an affordable mid-size SUV with the old-school boxy style and capabilities which was made from 1986-2006.

From 1989-2012, they came out with the Eclipse which was a compact sports vehicle, available in many forms. The Outlander, from 2001 to the present, has plenty of power for its size. The 3000GT VR-4 made from 1990-2000, was an amazing piece of engineering and design.

About Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi was established as a shipping firm in 1870. In 1873, they changed to Mitsubishi Shokai. In 1881, they bought into coal mining. In 1917, the Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. introduced the Mitsubishi Model A, which was Japan’s first series-production automobile.  In 1934, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was created from the Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Company and the Mitsubishi Aircraft Company merging.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries concentrated on manufacturing aircraft, ships, railroad cars, and machinery. In 1937, they developed the PX33, a prototype sedan for military use. In 1971 they sold shares to Chrysler. In 1982 they were introduced to the American market and in 1993 Chrysler sold its shares. They also had an alliance with Nissan.

Their headquarters are in Tokyo, Japan, and their American headquarters are in Cypress, CA. There are about 350 dealerships in the US. You can get up to $750 as a rebate on select models.
