Is your New Year’s Resolution to get in shape? Us too. Thankfully, it doesn’t have to break the bank because there are many fitness clubs and gyms nationwide that offer military discounts. You can also find discounts on equipment to create your own home gym, fitness programs, and workout clothing.

Gold’s Gym Military Discount

Gold’s Gym is a co-ed fitness center that offers low enrollment fees and discounted monthly pricing for active duty and veterans as well as active police and active firefighters. You would need to verify your military affiliations with ID.me.

YMCA Military Discount

The YMCA is a gym, and also offers other activities. In a partnership with the Armed Services YMCA and the Department of Defense, there is the Military Outreach Initiative. This initiative offers gym memberships and respite child care services for qualified military members and families nationwide. You need to go to their website to see if you qualify and to fill out an application.

24 Hour Fitness Military Discount

24-Hour Fitness is a fitness gym and they offer a military special. You pay $0 for initiation and then will receive $5 off your monthly dues. This discount is for active duty and reservist military. You would just need to show your military ID.

Crossfit Gyms

Crossfit provides a community and challenging workouts to help you achieve your goals. They have over 13,000 affiliates worldwide. Some affiliates will give out a military discount, and they also have some affiliates on military installations where the membership cost is free.

Anytime Fitness

Anytime Fitness is a gym that offers a military discount however each location needs to opt into it. Check at your local club to see if they have one.

Orangetheory Fitness

Orangetheory Fitness is a fitness studio that offers science-backed, technology-tracked, coach-inspired group workouts that blend cardiovascular and strength training. Some studios do offer a $10 a month off military discount.

One of our local gyms here has a military discount. Maybe your local gym does too, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Although the following are not in-person gyms, they offer fitness programs with some type of military discount:

Beachbody

Beachbody offers workout videos and products as an MLM model business. They have a Military Waiver Program where they will wave the Coach Business Service Fee. This is for active duty, reservists, including the national guard, those who were wounded in action, honorably charged veterans, or their spouse or partner. They also offer it to the spouse or partner of a US military service member who was lost or KIA.

You would enroll as a coach, purchase the business starter kit, and follow the instructions. You will need to verify your military eligibility with approved documents.

ACE Fitness

ACE Fitness is a place you can buy fitness programs or online courses. They offer 20% off all ACE materials as a military discount or the current best offer, whichever is greater. They also participate in the Post 9/11 GI Bill and MYCAA programs. This can help current and aspiring ACE professionals to pursue quality certification for their new careers.

Under Armour Military Discount

Under Armour offers outerwear, activewear, and more. They offer a 10% off military discount off your entire purchase. The discount is for active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses, and military family members. You would use the discount online after confirming your eligibility with ID.Me.

Champs Sports Military Discount

Champs Sports is an American sports retail store and a subsidiary of Foot Locker. They sell apparel, equipment, footwear, and accessories. You can receive 20% off most purchases on champssports.com. Active duty personnel in any branch of the military, their spouse, and their dependents as well as retirees who receive military benefits, as well as their eligible spouses and dependents, qualify. Others may qualify if they receive military benefits.

Kohl’s

At Kohl’s, you can find all of your workout attire for gym days. They offer a Military Monday discount of 15% off to current and former members of the military. The discount can be used with Dollar-off discounts, Kohl’s Cash, Yes2You Rewards, and promotional gifts. You must show ID, and the discount is for in-store only.

Big 5 Sporting Goods

Big 5 Sporting Goods is a sporting goods store. You can find gear for your home gym, or clothes to wear to your local gym. They have a 10% off military discount for all active duty, reserve military, retirees, veterans, their spouses, and dependents. You would need to show a valid ID or veterans status on your driver’s license. This is valid in-store only.

X Training Equipment

At X Training Equipment, you can find just what you are looking for to craft your home gym. They offer a 7% off military discount on their website with just a few exceptions. You would just start a customer account, email support, and then the discount will be automatic once you are verified.

Rep Fitness

Rep Fitness offers gym equipment and a 5% off military discount off any Rep Fitness brand items. You would email customer support with a picture ID or from your work email. All orders will be manually reviewed and approved.

CFF Fit

At CFF Fit, you can find equipment for your home gym or fitness needs. They offer a 10% off military discount off CFF Brand items for active duty and retired military. You would create an account and fill out their form to see if you qualify. The discount is not valid on used equipment, non-CFF brand items, and items that are on sale or marked clearance.
